Bonython Centre Staff
We consider employee education of paramount importance and Stepping Stones has contributed financially to the education of many existing and past employees, allowing them to complete Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates in Children’s Services, ensuring our staffs has the best qualifications and support for their chosen career.
Education also includes external short courses and internal training. We believe that supporting an employee who chooses to participate in additional training not only means that we are training the future leaders benefitting our organisation but also the wider community.
A list of all staff, their role and position in the service, qualifications and photo are on display in the reception area at the Centre and also displayed on the door of each classroom.
The number of staff employed at our centre is in compliance with the State Government license requirements. These are:
- 1 staff member for every 5 children in the 0-3 age group
- 1 staff member for every 11 children in the 3-5 age group
And these must include
- 1 qualified staff member for every 15 children in the 0-3 age group
- 1 qualified staff member for every 22 children in the 3-5 age group

Naomi Stokes – Diploma of Children’s Services, Certificate III in Children’s Services, Senior First Aid Certificate and Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment.

Sharon Nestor - Studying her Certificate III in Children's Services, Senior First Aid Certificate, Food Handlers Certificate and is the Occupational Health and Safety Officer at the Centre.
Erin Smart– Certificate III in Children's Services, Senior First Aid and studying Diploma of Children's Services (Early Childhood Education and Care).
