Stepping Stones requires a permanent employee to cover the Rostered Days Off (RDO) for Full Time employees. the days of employment for this position are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - 8 hours per day.

The childcare worker will maintain a high standard of practice. They will need to demnstrate skills in understanding and appreciating young children and their families. Good communication skills are essential as he/she will be working as an active member of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a quality service that is responsive to the needs families and children using the service. The Childcare worker will be required to work within the philosophies, policies, guidelines and agreed codes of practice established by the Centre, and to have a working knowledge of the Children’s Services Regulations.
Suitable casual employees are offered permanent employment as positions become available.

Experience in the Children's Services industry is prefered but not essential.
